What did/do you enjoy most about your apprenticeship experience?

I enjoy attending central training days because I always come away with a range of fun activities, that I can deliver in my own setting.

What initiatives have you been able to implement as an apprentice?

I have started new sports clubs at my school (Fitness and Multi-Sports)

Provide feedback on how your tutor has supported you.

My tutor (Dan Roe) has been incredibly supportive throughout my apprenticeship journey. I know that if I ever have a question or feel I need help on a task, he will always make time to help me.

What is the biggest thing you have learnt during your apprenticeship?

I have learned how to work effectively as part of a team.

How would you describe your apprenticeship journey?

I think everything I have learnt, participated in, and achieved during my apprenticeship has been both extremely beneficial and motivating. When I finish my apprenticeship, I know that I will leave with a huge amount of skills I wouldn’t have gained anywhere else.

Which aspect of the apprenticeship have been the hardest?

For a period of time, I did struggle with completing my coursework but then my tutor arranged a meeting with myself and my mentor and we jointly put together a plan of action to support me going forward. Ever since I have been able to stay on top of my coursework and have met all of the deadlines set.

How have you found working with primary/secondary children?

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the pupils in my school and helping them to teach their full potential in P.E.

I would recommend an apprenticeship with Educational & Sporting Futures because….

You will receive lots of support from extremely passionate and experienced tutors who will help you develop your knowledge and skills to improve your own practice.
